1930s Loretta Bias Dress - Art Deco Fan Georgette
A limited edition 1930s dress in a delightful Art Deco fan print - autumnal in colour, timeless in character. Inspired by a mid-1930s original, this dress brings together a softly draped neckline, delicate gathers and a beautifully flowing bias-cut skirt. Its fine, dainty fan print has a wonderfully vintage feel, with hints of brown, red and mustard gold.
Made in semi-sheer viscose georgette, it takes on a different character depending on the slip beneath. Try red for a bold look, brown for warm autumnal depth, or a light shade to carry it beautifully into spring.
The high cowl neckline is a lovely mid-1930s detail, with shirring beneath creating soft fullness through the bust before gathering underneath. The bias-cut skirt falls in flattering lines around the body, while the sleeves have gentle gathers at the shoulder and cuff.
A sash belt defines the waist, finished with a coffee-coloured Art Deco-style clasp. A small keyhole and button fastening at the back allows the dress to slip over the head, with no zip needed.
